Subject and Action
A candid portrait of a toddler with voluminous curly dark hair, sitting at a wooden table, holding a single red pencil, gazing directly into the lens with a calm, neutral expression. The subject is wearing a brown sleeveless cotton top adorned with delicate white polka dots, featuring realistic fabric folds and soft textile weave.
Composition and Framing
Medium shot, eye-level perspective, centered composition. Shot on a 50mm lens to ensure natural facial proportions. Shallow depth of field with a creamy, soft-focus background of a neutral-toned interior, ensuring the child remains the singular focal point.
Lighting and Atmosphere
Soft, diffused ambient indoor lighting, mimicking the style of Peter Lindbergh. Balanced, even illumination that highlights natural skin tones and subtle subsurface scattering on the cheeks. Gentle, soft shadows to provide dimension without harsh contrast, creating a clean and authentic editorial aesthetic.
Material and Texture
High-frequency detail captured in the individual strands of dark curly hair and the fine pores of the skin. Tactile rendering of the cotton fabric texture and the smooth, matte finish of the wooden pencil.
Visual Style
Photorealistic portrait, documentary-style photography, high dynamic range, crisp focus on the eyes.
Constraints
No text, no watermarks, no logos. No harsh artificial lighting, no oversaturated colors, no distorted proportions, no plastic-looking skin texture. Do not obscure or alter the subject's face.
